The persistence of photo voltaic storms created perfect situations for the aurora borealis within the Northern Hemisphere, displaying a spectacle that might be seen from house.
Astronaut Matthew Dominik, stationed aboard the Worldwide Area Station (ISS), recorded a timelapse video displaying the moon setting and the solar rising amid “streams of purple and inexperienced aurora.”
The northern lights – or aurora borealis – are a spectacular show of twinkling, swirling lights within the night time sky which have dazzled mankind for 1000’s of years.
