- All world regions can apply for Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program.
- Bachelor’s degree obtained in 2015 or Later; for enrolling in 2022. Students can apply if they apply within four years and enroll within five years after their bachelor’s degree.
- Students must be first-step mentally sharp, seek out knowledge and new experiences, be full of original ideas, make sense of ambiguous situations, and hold a contrarian or dissenting point of view.
- Students must complete their Knight-Hennessy Scholars application and the entire application process, including any standardized test that the graduate degree program requires (GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.) and, if needed, an English proficiency test.
- In the best sense of the word, students must be ambitious, driven to improve themselves, and willing to take risks. Self-aware and persists and bounces back from adversity. Personally modest and kind, inclusive, respect differences, am concerned for and helpful to others, and have a low ego.
- To study at Stanford, students must be eloquent in English — listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The minimum TOEFL score for most graduate programs at Stanford is 100iBT or 600PBT. All Stanford graduate degree programs accept the TOEFL and the M.B.A. The Program also agrees with the IELTS, and P.T.E. applicants can learn more about scores.
- First, to apply to Knight-Hennessy Scholars, the applicant must apply to be accepted into a full-time Stanford graduate degree program. Each incoming Knight-Hennessy Scholar must be a newly enrolled student in a Stanford graduate program including, but not defined to, D.M.A., J.D., MA, M.B.A., MD, M.F.A., M.P.P., MS, or Ph.D. programs. There are no quotas by education or Program. We will prioritize those who will spend at least two years studying at Stanford.
