On the scene of alleged kidnapping of mannequin and actress Nimra Khan in DH Section 8, Darakshan SDPO Manisha Rupita on Sunday stated it was not a kidnapping however a case of harassment.
Based on Rupita, the police investigation revealed that the accused was using a bike and had no accomplices. Initially, it was alleged that the mannequin had been kidnapped, following which the DIG and SSP of the Southern District ordered a full investigation.
The investigation, led by Darakshan DSP, discovered that the incident was associated to harassment and never tried kidnapping.
In gentle of latest harassment instances involving girls, each leading to arrests, the police have developed a route map for the suspect within the Nimra Khan case. Efforts to find and arrest the accused are underway, with the police anticipated to make an arrest quickly.
In the meantime, Nimra Khan expressed satisfaction with the police’s efforts in her case. She appreciated the police for his or her tireless efforts in investigating and gathering proof.
