The Duchess of Sussex revealed that she found she is part-Nigerian by way of a Genealogy check.
Meghan met with ladies from the West African nation on Saturday (Could 11) and acknowledged Nigeria as “my nation” throughout a speech.
She mentioned, “After I did the family tree and found my heritagethe very first thing I did clearly was name my mother as a result of I wished to know if she had any consciousness of that and I feel being African American and a part of that’s actually not figuring out a lot about your lineage, your origin, the place you come from particularly and it was emotional for each of us to find extra and perceive what this actually means.”
