The brand new season of “Bridgerton,” Shondaland’s steamy remix of the rom-com and romance set in Regency-era London, focuses much less on debuts and extra on glamor.
Overlook the superb creators on whose backs the collection constructed its model. It is a season all about second probabilities. About renovations, revivals and new hopes, particularly for individuals who are thought of by the gossip-ton residents to have little (or none in any respect) prospects. Even Woman Violet (Ruth Gemmell), the Bridgerton member of the family, has a suitor. And this time the collection’ crafty narrator, Woman Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) – or somewhat her conflicted creator, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coghlan) – is within the sizzling seat.
